Designed by Bill Stump and Don Chadwick with manufacturing by Herman Miller (USA), the functional features of the Equa chair were groundbreaking in both aesthetics and ergonomics. Shortly after its introduction in 1984, the Equa-chair design was selected by Time magazine as “Best of the Decade”. With mid-century modern simplicity, the shape of the Equa remains very stylish and iconic.
The Equa model presented in this listing has purple fabric upholstery and black-steel sled legs. It's in excellent vintage condition with signs of usage commensurate with age.
